Pics from Utah

We were able to go to Utah a couple of weeks ago and see Russell's sister Sarah-beth get married. I'm so glad we were able to go. Here's the happy couple!

It had been forever since I'd been to the Salt Lake temple. It is so beautiful! Bonus for this trip: Natalia and her fam were there because Beth, Natalias sister-in-law, was getting married at the same time in the Salt Lake temple! Now is that a coincidence or what??

An expanding vocabulary

BJ, my happy little 21 month old,  is finally able to communicate with a lot of words.  His vocabulary includes:

Bye 

No

Eat 

Water

Milk

More

Bath

Please

Hat

Book

Bed

Uh-oh

The thing is, all exept for the last one are said with his hands not his mouth.  He's also able to get other things across by pointing and grunting.  I think he's developmentally on track, and he hears just fine.  He's just slow to speak.  I am working on more signs with him to improve our communication, and I'm sure he'll speak when he's good and ready.

What if I were....

Sissy: What if I were a giant magnet?

Me: Then we'd put you up on the fridge so we could look at you all the time.

Sissy: Well I'm not a magnet, I'm a person

Me: Thank goodness for that.

Sissy: Ya.
